Description
This was such a paaaaaaaain >_< I must have drawn about 3 backgrounds, I was very tempted to not bother with one but I'm glad I kept at it. I'm gonna guess that the Pidgey is in Ilex Forest or something. I do love that little Pokemon.
I still have a few niggles but seriously I spent waaaaaay too long on this drawing today it became painful.

Overall Vision Originality Technique Impactwow! very nicely done. The soft painting/coloring looks very nice with a unique twist of cartoony and realistic styles. The shading overall looks good and in the right places, however I would suggest adding some more darker areas so you can tell where the light is shining brighter than in other places.
The shades of blue in the background look very nice and fit the "theme" of the piece well. The color all works perfectly and I can say with absolute honesty that this is an amazing picture. I'm actually having a hard time picking out things that you could improve on.
I may suggest adding some more detail into the feathers on the Pidgey, just to give it a bit more of a realistic touch. But maybe just on the shading of the wings, or something. You understand what I'm saying right?
Anyway, this is truly 5 star work. Well done!
